I don’t know about you, but I love to read. When I’m looking to unwind and relax, my top choice is to pick up a book. There are certain seasons when I’m engrossed in fiction, often historical in nature. And then there are times when I’m looking for answers to what is happening in our culture, in my family life, or even in my innermost thoughts and feelings, and that’s when reading takes on a new level of importance.
First and foremost, when I’m looking for answers I try to always start with THE Book, the Bible, to serve as my foundation of truth and direction. I’m also grateful that God has given wisdom to some wonderful authors who then share that insight with the world. Over the years, He has brought to my attention some amazing books, which have helped to enlighten and guide me along the way, and in turn, I’d love to share them with you.
